"Works alright with our LMS, but has its moments"
Kami works well with Google Classroom for us, but it’s not totally hassle-free. Every now and then we run into weird syncing issues, and a few students have mentioned that files don’t always attach right away. It’s definitely handy for marking up PDFs, but with our LMS setup it can feel a bit clunky sometimes. Overall, it’s decent, just wish it was a little smoother.

"Google Classroom sync is helpful, but it can be fussy"
Kami has been solid with Google Classroom for me overall. I like being able to push out assignments and have students turn them back in without giving a whole speech every time.
Then out of nowhere it’ll act like it forgot how files work. Sometimes something doesn’t show up right away, or a student swears their work saved and I have to go digging for it. It’s still useful, but those little glitches are not fun in the middle of class...

"Pretty good value if you use it regularly"
I’ve been using Kami for my classes, and overall I’d say it’s been worth the cost. The free version is fine for basic stuff, but the paid features do seem to save me a decent amount of time, especially with PDFs and leaving comments.
That said, it might feel a little expensive if you’re only opening it once in a while. For daily use, though, I think the value is fair. It’s not perfect, but I’d probably renew

"Way easier than my old worksheet routine"
I’ve been using this in my classroom, and it’s made dealing with worksheets so much simpler. Compared to how I used to print, sort, and explain everything manually, this feels a lot more convenient and saves me a good bit of time.

"Kami has been useful for..."
Kami has been useful for basic PDF notes and quick school assignments, and I can see why people like it. It makes small tasks feel more organized, which helps when you're just trying to keep up. After a while though, the free plan starts to feel a little too restricted. Some of the tools that would make the work smoother are locked behind the upgrade, and that can be frustrating when you're not trying to do anything fancy. I still use it here and there, but I wish the free version gave students a bit more room to actually use the app before feeling pushed to pay

"My students are way more into it now"
Kami has made a noticeable difference in my classroom. My students are more willing to jump in, answer questions, and mark up their work instead of just kind of sitting there waiting. They can write, highlight, and leave comments right on the page, and it makes the whole lesson feel more active. Even my quieter kids seem more comfortable participating. It’s also simple to use, which makes it a lot easier for me too.

"Grading and feedback is way less of a hassle now"
This has made grading feel a lot easier for me. It saves me time on the little things, like writing comments, checking the same types of mistakes over and over, giving quick feedback, sorting through assignments, and even just keeping my thoughts organized. Instead of spending forever on one stack of work, I can move through it faster and still leave feedback that feels useful. It’s been helpful for essays, short answers, drafts, revisions, random homework checks, and pretty much anything where I need to respond to students without getting buried in it...

"PDF editing is easy, but not perfect"
I’ve found editing PDFs with it to be straightforward, and it definitely makes fixing up documents a lot easier. That said, I still have mixed feelings because some parts feel a little basic or not as smooth as I’d like. Overall, it gets the job done.

"Good app, but the slow loading gets annoying"
Kami works well most of the time, but the loading speed is really inconsistent for me. Some PDFs pop open right away, and then others just sit there forever, so I end up refreshing and wasting energy on something that should be simple.

It’s not a terrible app or anything, but it does get frustrating when I’m trying to move quickly and instead I’m stuck waiting around. It seems better with a strong connection, but it still feels like it could be smoother. I’d give it 3 stars...

"Worked across my devices right away"
I set it up on my phone first, then added my laptop later that same day, and everything synced without any hassle. After using it for a few days, it’s been working smoothly on all my stuff.

"Privacy seems okay, but I'm still not fully convinced"
It works fine overall, but the data settings are kind of confusing. I tried looking for clear answers about what’s actually being stored or shared, and I kept getting slightly different explanations depending on where I checked. That’s frustrating. The privacy side seems okay, but I’m still not totally sure I trust that I understand it.

"I have to give credit where it’s..."
I have to give credit where it’s due—the new tools have been working really well lately. Took a bit to get here, but the recent updates made a noticeable difference

"Easy to send out, kinda messy to get back"
Pushing assignments out in Kami is simple, no real complaints there. The annoying part is collecting them after. Some kids submit and it shows up fine, but others take forever to appear or I end up refreshing a bunch like... did it submit or not?
Honestly it just adds extra little steps when I should be grading already. I spend more time double checking who actually turned it in than I’d like. Not a dealbreaker, just feels a bit clunky on the collection side

"Easy enough, but a little frustrating at times"
Kami is easy to use once you figure out where everything is, and I do like being able to mark up PDFs without a ton of hassle. That said, some of the tools feel kind of tucked away, and it can get laggy here and there. I also had moments where the help or guidance felt a little like I was being talked down to, which got annoying. Overall, it’s not bad, just not quite as smooth or simple as I was hoping

"Reliable and hasn’t let me down"
I use Kami almost every week to mark up PDFs and share materials with my students, and it’s been really dependable. It opens quickly, even when I’m jumping between a few tabs and trying to get things ready before class. I haven’t run into crashes or strange bugs, which I really appreciate. On busy days, I just need it to work without fuss, and it does. Simple, steady, and easy to rely on

"Kami does have some genuinely useful accessibility..."
Kami does have some genuinely useful accessibility features, like text-to-speech and the markup tools are easy to use, which I appreciated. That said, it can be a little clunky with screen readers sometimes, and it kinda slows down the flow. Overall it’s good enough for most stuff, but it definitley feels like it still needs a bit more polish.

"We’ve been using it for live edits with..."
We’ve been using it for live edits with the team and it’s been solid. Changes show up quick, and it makes working together way easier. Not perfect every single time, but overall it works well for what we need
